Happy Chinese New Year to all our friends.

2021 Chinese New Year falls on February 12th (Friday). It has been a rough year, hopefully the Year of the Ox will be a better year.

Under MCO, we are not allowed to balik kampong. We are also barred from home visits this Chinese New Year. Only 15 family members living within 10 kilometer radius is allowed for the reunion dinners.

But nothing will stop us from celebrating Chinese New Year. We will still decorate our houses with red lanterns, red packets and etc. We will use technology to keep traditions alive. We are planning a group video call with our family members on the reunion dinner and the first day of Chinese New Year. It is going to be fun having dinner and video call with family members on the other side of the country. Thanks to advancement of technology, we can feel like we are eating together in one place.
